Secret mission on the 15th of November! =p

Ok, so here it goes...

Well, apparently I woke up on saturday morning feeling quite bad... So instead of meeting them for lunch as planned, I stayed at home to have porridge! =(

Before setting off, I already made sure I had everything with me that was supposed to be brought there, and it all totalled up to be a big paper bag used to put mooncakes, but there was still the feeling that I missed something out. =x

With a bit of dilly-dally here and there, I ended up only seeting off at 2! (when we were supposed to meet shirley at 2.15pm) and I was delayed a while, loitering around the mrt station, while waiting for them to decide if I need to buy more double-sided tapes and uhu glue...

On the train, I was busy sms-ing, when suddenly I looked up to discover a pregnant lady standing in front of me... I was really in a dilemma as to whether I should give up my seat to her. On one hand, there was the incident the other time when we gave up the seat to a lady we thought was pregnant, but ended up in fact, that she just had a bulging tummy! It's really quite hard to decipher at times... =x

On the other hand, I was really feeling quite sick. If I had to stand the whole journey, I can't guarantee I won't puke halfway through. So I kept thinking whether to give up my seat, or not to give... and it lasted all the way till Dhoby Ghaut where she alighted. It made me feel so guilty for the rest of the day. But it's weird why nobody else gave her a seat...

Anyway, I went ahead to Outram while waiting for them to come from Dhoby Ghaut... In the mean time, I suddenly recalled that there was still the paper that we decorated on monday with the colour pencils that shirley brought... I had this omnious feeling that it was still lying somewhere back in my house... =x

So I called Andy and Sarah to confirm that it is with one of them, but they told me that it's at my house! Wow, so have head back home to get it... it was already 2.45pm at that time... So we split up 2 ways - Sarah and Meng Wee off to Hotel Re! to meet Shirley to get the room key from her; Andy accompanied me back to get the stuff...

So we got our stuff, and went back to Outram again... There wasn't any seats left, so we had to stand... Along the way there were several times i felt quite giddy and nauseas... and that idiot Andy kept offering me my mooncake paper bag whenever I said I felt like puking... lol =x

In the end, we alighted at Chinatown instead to try and look for some flowers that we can buy to decorate the room. Not only did we not manage to find a single florist, we even walked a whole deal just to find the stupid bus stop... Along the way, I saw a lot of 174 that passed, but someone said that it's the wrong direction!

So we walked from Chinatown to Clarke Quay to Bugis to City Hall... Until i couldn't hold my bladder anymore, that I went to the toilet at Funan. When I came out, we went to the bus stop at the other side to wait for the bus, only to find out it's the wrong direction! -_-lll

Then we had to go all the way back to the other side and wait for the bus. From a mere 2 bus stops from Chinatown, we ended up taking like, 6 bus stops from City Hall, passing through the whole path we walked the whole way... and we even passed by a super big floral shop!! (but we could only see it go pass us from the bus) and I ended up with a blister on my little toe, which burst because I ignored it and continued walking...

By the time we reached Hotel Re!, it was already 5+ in the evening... all because we went on a cultural tour around Singapore... and someone refused to take cab... lol! =x
And it really took a great deal of stairs to take to reach that hotel... The hotel is quite cool... Nice decorations, and it was done up quite nicely too. You even need an access card to go up the lifts... and the lift is just like the one at the National Library... =p

When we turned up at the room, Meng Wee had already blown all the balloons manually (cos my balloon pump broke down), and cut all the letterings out... Sarah was already done folding all her paper roses, and is busy decorating the box we are giving to the couple as a surprise gift... =)

So we went on to put up the frogs, hang up the Happy 20th Birthday letterings, decorate the heart shaped balloons and using the hair dryer to make them dry faster... lol...
and we even dismantled their fridge to stuff the 2 boxes of cupcakes in (just in case they melt)... shhh... =x

Then it's a whole lot of photo taking! =p

When we left the hotel after leaving the keys at the reception, I suddenly remembered i left the gigantic mooncake paper bag in the hotel room! So we had to return to the reception, get the keys from them again, take the lift up, and open up the room door... just to retrieve that big bag lying just beside the door... haha... bad memory, must be getting old... =x

After dinner, we went back to the hotel again to join the 2 of them... When I passed the mirror at the lift lobby, I had a total big shock... My dark circles and eye bags were horrendous... Guess it was due to lack of sleep the previous night (imagine waking up at 4am, 6am, 8am, 9am, 10am)... Plus my fever was coming back up again at night... Andy said the dark circles were to fit into the theme of the hotel... and Meng Wee asked if I put eye-liner... -_-lll
