I shall try and make this clearer... It's a family where the mum brings her daughter and son out for lunch. So in this case, the daughter wanted to sit at the table behind us, while the younger son wanted to sit somewhere outside. Then the mum went over to the other table where her son is, while motioning for her daughter to join them.

The daughter refused. So she stubbornly stuck by the table behind us. The mum is weird too. After her daughter refused to move over, she just went over and threatened her, asked her to go buy her own food.

Then the mum went to get some noodles for herself. And here comes the weirdest part. She went to sit at another new table, diagonally opposite us. What the hell? So it ended up like, the 3 of them were at 3 different tables. Alone. And her two children were just sitting where they were, sulking.

I thought it was going to be like this. All of a sudden, the mum left her chopsticks in the bowl (a big taboo for chinese), went over to the daughter, and threatened her again, so loud I think the whole coffee shop can hear. Then again, the daughter refused to move. 

So the mum went over to the other table, and yanked her son out of his chair. My gosh. I'm surprised his arm is still intact. Then she pulled him over and made him sit beside her at her table. The son looks so traumatised the whole time, and kept staring at what I was eating. 

While the mum continued to eat her noodles, the son started sulking more and more. Then suddenly, the daughter seemed to have thought it through, and decided to join the table too. So she grabbed her bag (dropped it along the way with a loud thud), and went over quite happily. Weird.

The son, on the other hand, was sulking and sulking, and even went to the extent of making weird noises. LOL... He started crying after a while. But the mum continued eating her noodles, and his sister went to order hers and started eating too. 

Though her brother kicked her bag down the chair, she just picked it up without complaints and continued eating after that. I kind of think she's happy that her brother is unhappy! Oh well, jealousy kills.

He cried even more and more after he realised nobody was bothering about him. Noise pollution. Then after like, 15 minutes, the mum finished eating, and finally decided it was time for her to pacify her son. I missed that out, but when I next looked, the son wasn't crying anymore. wth... She should have done so earlier. Damn.

This world is so full of weird people with weird temperaments. How could she do that to her children in public? At least make sure her children are well mannered enough to shut their mouths up in public. -_-lll
